> What I Bought:
I admitted last month that I purchased a third artwork. So, including making the second payment on the second artwork (TBA), I paid off the third artwork. In total, it cost a whopping $3500USD plus postage which was approximately $6500AUD. Again, I'm not proud. I had to borrow money AND I blew through my savings for it.
Additionally, I purchased a Christmas ornament ($3.67) that I'd had my eyes on for a long time.
I also used some vouchers. I bought a pair of replacement boots from Big W. They retail for $30 but it went down to $24 with my sister's staff discount. I cannot stress how happy I am to have them because I LIVED in my previous ones and had been looking for a replacement ever since. They're the perfect staple. I also got a replacement jumper ($12) and just dream come true piece. I have my Coca-Cola jumper but it's just too orange-red and this is bright cherry-red, and the fit and length is 100x better. I wore it the day after I got it and will be a staple, so no regrets with these free purchases. Plus, it features a Chicago print which is my fav US city!
Total: $3.67AUD and $3500+USD
I went to the theatre for Fledermaus! (ticket was gifted but $10 programme), Evil Dead the Musical ($48 ticket) and Music Man (ticket was $55 and $10 programme). I went to the drive-in for In The Lost Lands* ($19.80), Mickey 17 ($11.50) and Locked ($19), and cinema for Black Bag ($10) and Death of a Unicorn ($13.50).

> Temptations:
I've always wanted some Bed Threads bedding in the colour petrol. With it being discontinued and now 50% off, my options for buying said bedding is slim. However, as I have only one bed and three sheets already (with two from Bed Threads), it doesn't make sense logically to buy another. Even though I badly want to!
I honestly was (and still am) very tempted to get something from the Thomas Sabo x Haribo range too. Also, this Veg Knitted Jumper by Lazy Oaf and the Itchy and Scratchy t-shirt from Strike Anywhere.
I love homewares, furniture and just interior decorating all round, so I always want everything whenever I go to any kind of homemaker centre. Obviously unneeded but doesn't mean I'm not tempted.
I got covid mid-March so not much temptation luckily. Just time spent in bed haha. Although, afterwards, I was again tempted by two pairs of boots (one you've seen and one upcoming) and a few more art pieces haha.
> What I Learnt:
I am trying to make smarter decisions overall. I've always said that the more money I have the less I spend. That too goes for when I have debt the less I spend. It sounds like an oxymoron, but many people get into more debt when they're struggling and I'm avoiding that. I will be debt free come May if I make smart decisions.
I reflect a lot (and I've said that before), but I've been thinking about the lobster incense holder I purchased last year from Dusk. Now, don't get me wrong, I still love it and don't regret buying it, but since then I've moved into purchasing art made by artists rather than mass made homewares. Both are fine, of course. But my taste has changed in under a year, and it's a reminder to myself to not buy items that I might want for the future.
Until next month x
