June, how I did and all that jazz.
> What I Bought:
Nada zip nothing.
Well, that's not entirely true. I admit that I bought a Noel Fielding work from Jealous Gallery that I'm paying off in part payments. More on this in July, as I only share the final amount once it's paid off.
I know I've been saying that I was going to finally buy the glass artwork this month, but the artist asked me to hold off until the new financial year, so, instead, I will be paying for that at the start of July.
But I had put some theatre tickets ($87.90) and drive-in tickets ($39) on zip pay last month, so I paid those off.
Total: $0
I went to the cinema for The Phoenician Scheme ($19).
> Temptations:
I saw the unicorn cardigan from Dangerfield in person, and I loved it! It's still around $100 so I thought I best not. I also quite liked some jewellery while I was out, including a moon pendant necklace and some dinosaurs in cowboy boots earrings. Plus boots I previously wanted have gone down to $15 on sale, but I resisted.
I almost bought some pjs when I was in Shepperton. Well, I say almost, but I knew I wouldn't right away.
And I am, however, still tempted to get the Killer Klowns From Outer Space Chibi Fleece Hoodie.
> What I Learnt:
I remember mentioning last year how I tend to buy nothing and then around every six months or so I go a little crazy and buy a bunch of things. That proved true for May, so it doesn't surprise me that June is so bare.
I did have some time to kill at a shopping centre at the end of the month and there was literally nothing I was tempted by. And you know, shopping to kill time is REALLY boring when there's nothing you want/need. I walked around for about two hours just looking at items I knew I had no interest in purchasing - and I didn't.
Hopefully next month will be more exciting!
