EVENT: Von Fellies by Dita Von Teese for Target

I finally found some videos worth showing from the Von Fellies by Dita Von Teese for Target LMFF 2012 show. And wow, oh wow. How amazing is the 2nd video?! And now, just imagine being there.

It was so spectaular. The show was delayed for about 40 minutes but there was still a big excitement in the room. It was very much a sold out show. And there were so many people dressed up in amazing costumes - or perhaps, their everyday style, either way - so it was like stepping back in time. It was amazing!

The show begin, the room went quite and then there was a big roar of cheers. From the start of the runway to the end, as Dita walked down the runway herself, there was a chain of people standing up, clapping and cheering from their seats. Miss Von Teese gave us a little preview of how she performs ... and then the models came out, each wearing more beautiful lingerie to the next. Beautiful black lace, with bows, corsets etc accomplied perfectly with Christian Louboutin shoes, Ben Amun and Vintage jewellery, Laura Kranitz custom eye masks and Palace Costume vintage lounge wear.

I had read in the paper sometime inbetween when she was casting models to before the show, that she had decided to no longer use super skinny models and opted for more curvy girls. And to note, that most of the wolf whistles and cheers when to the girls who were about a size 16 or over.

At the end of the show, all the models walked out and Dita joined them at the end. She walked between them to the start of the end of the runway to more loud applause and then exited just as gracefully as she had arrived.

It was, by far, the most amazing show I'd ever seen! If you are a fan, or just plan curious, I definitely recommend watching the two videos above.

Enjoy! I'll post the other show's review in a little while.
