LOVE: Domenica Knit Top by Brave + True

I saw this Domenica Knit Top by Brave + True
in stores the other week and absolutely loved it!

Again, it's short so I wouldn't buy it (pet peeve of mine)
but I was definitely tempted. It looks scratchy but it was SO soft!

LOVE: Light Of My Life Dress by The Grace Society

The print. The colours. The fit. The cut outs.
If this was in adult sizes, I'd be so tempted!

THEME: White Pinecone Ornament by David Jones

These are the White Pinecone Ornament I bought at David Jones.

I saw one on display in the city but none for sale. I was in a rush so instead of asking about it,
I went online to find them. They weren't available for click and collect and I was heading
instore two days later so thought I'd wait. That morning, I saw they had sold out online.
Hoping. Praying. I found three instore and bought them! I was so happy!

The only other place I could find them online was in the UK/Germany, but they didn't send to
Australia so, I emailed them to ask. Funny how I didn't want to pay the $10 delivery fee here
but I was willing to pay more to have them shipped from the UK. But I'm so glad I now own them!

HALLOWEEN: Mini Halloween Dish Set by Le Creuset

I wonder if I could justify buying this

... or maybe just the larger one... or others...

MSFW: City Square Runway 1 - David Jones

There are very few times when I actually head into the city. For one, it's rather far away and two, I have no idea how to get anywhere without a map! So I tend to look more like a tourist than a Melbournian. And don't even get me started on how terrified I am at trying to figure out trams.

So my attempt to catch the 12pm show went array. Let's just cut a long story short and say that I mistook the City Square for Federation Square ... and showed up to an empty stage. I turned it into a positive by Elephant Spotting for Melbourne Zoo (I found five of them - but I want to get photos of them all) before finally making the 1pm show.

I got a photo of every outfit! I do have close ups but as this entry is so PHOTO HEAVY already, I opted not to share them. Colour, colour and more colour is on the cards for Spring Racing. Pastels, Neons, Lace, Jumpsuits and even the Pants Suit are set for 2012.

Until tomorrow,

x
