TREND: Dancing Through Life! I Have 'Wicked' Fever!

The new Wicked film is out in cinemas this week and I, like many other musical theatre lovers,
cannot wait. The Wicked fever has been insane and like nothing I've experienced before with

My sister works at Myer, so I'm always constantly there - I mean, there's the incentive of using her discount, naturally - and this Horoscope Tee by Miss Shop caught my eye. 

I'm so proud of my sign! I love the black. I love the embroidery quality.

I love everything about it. It's on my wishlist for sure!

LOVE: Deep Fuchsia Jacquard Dress by Jayson Brunsdon Black Label

 

I have loved this Deep Fuchsia Jacquard Dress by Jayson Brunsdon Black Label via Myer since the first moment I saw it. But it is no longer available at my local Myer store =\  I wish I would have tried it on when it was in stores because then I could buy it online if I knew it suited. Such trivial things haha.

LOVE: Danny Navy Boot by Miss Shop

I saw these Danny Navy Boot by Miss Shop via Myer in stores a while ago and I feel in love with them almost straight away. They are beautiful and I love them! I've been so tempted to buy them and now that they're on sale and I get an added discount thanks to my sister, I'm even more tempted to buy them. I don't need new shoes but these are nothing like I own and I could wear them for my cosplay too. Agh so tempted!

Update: I ended up buying them. Got them for $53 even though they cost $89.95. This is a win!

LOVE: Flutter Sleeve Dress by Tokito City

Next year I have two - maybe three - weddings to attend and I'm a bridesmaid for another. I'M FREAKING OUT! I've only ever been to one wedding - officially - in my life and that was my cousin's two years ago. I can't remember if I had a clear idea of what I wanted to wear but I found a dress instore which I tracked down on ebay (1/4 the price, woo!), matched with shoes I already owned and a floral headband which I thought would bring the whole look together. Looking back at those photos, I'm so proud of that whole look and I couldn't have been any happier with the outcome.

But now, I have two - maybe three - looks to plan and I have NO idea whatsoever what I want to wear. My idea was to wear items already in my wardrobe but I think most people want to buy something new for big events - and I'm no exception. 

I'm considering this Flutter Sleeve Dress by Tokito City via Myer but I just don't know. I can't see a clear picture in my mind of what I want to wear. For someone who likes to plan their outfits well in advance, granted to say I'm slightly concerned. I hope one day I'm just lying in bad unable to sleep and it will just hit me. I do have some dress/colour/outfit ideas but so far I'm not 100% satisfied.

NEW: PU Contrast Trench in Camel by Miss Shop

A couple of weeks ago I was shopping in Myer and I walked past this PU Contrast Trench in Camel by Miss Shop. I had planned on going back later that day to try it on but I forgot all about it. With my spending, I have a set wishlist of things I've forever wanted. I've been working at crossing things off that list; the last thing on that list was a faux leather sleeved coat.

 I went back to the shops, tried it on and just knew it was meant to be mine. I didn't hestitate and I bought it then and there. Days later, I went back they were nowhere to be seen and had sold out.

I was so lucky. It's perfect!

NEW: L.O.V.E. Necklace by Myer

I bought this L.O.V.E. Necklace at Myer yesterday. As I'm in 100% ... okay 99% ... saving mode, I used a gift voucher that I received over Christmas. The necklace retails for $16.95 but I got it for around $8, bargain! I fell in love (pun intended) as soon as I saw it. It is so hard to capture on camera but trust me when I say it's gorgeous.

I mainly went to shop for shoes - using my voucher also - but at first I thought I wanted neon yellow pointed heels but size 6 is too small and 7 too big. I then thought about getting them in a more strappy style. Yellow had sold out so I thought I might get the neon pink. The neon pink then sold out so I thought about getting the black. Yesterday, at a different store than I usually go to, they had the strappy yellow in all sizes but 6, poo, (7 being too big in the style) and I didn't like the black on. So I ended up getting nothing. I will take it as not meant to be but being $19.99 on sale, I'm bummed that they didn't have the yellow in 6 :\

LOVE: Beaded India Jacket by T by Bettina Liano

I adore the amazing detail on this Beaded India Jacket by T by Bettina Liano via Miss Shop. It reminds me of Greek culture more so than Indian though - very Disney's Hercules. It's unfortunate how my generation gets most of its knowledge from movies and TV :\

Still though, I like!

I went and saw Looper last night. Wow oh wow oh wow. I love movies when you don't know where they are going. It's so much more than just a time travel movie. But that said, I do love action movies with a lot of blood. Yes, at the start it can be quite confusing, but the story is actually quiet easier to follow than one might think. I really enjoyed it. And the ending is really good too!

LOVE: Drape Jersey Pleather Jacket by Kenji

Sometimes it's good idea not to check something out online after you've seen it in store - because it can sometimes turn you off. On the other hand, sometimes you may see something online and hate the look of it when you see it instore (that's happened to me on numerous occasions!). The internet is a wacky medium sometimes.

I loved this Drape Jersey Pleather Jacket by Kenji via Miss Shop - Myer when I saw it instore but somehow, it looks so much different and unappealing online. I love the drape look, the different textures, the cut and yet somehow, now I kinda don't.

And then I tried it on the other day and I fell in love with it all over again! It's a vicious cycle, lol.
