NEW: Round Amber Pendant Bracelets by Romwe

I forgot to post a photo of my new Round Amber Pendant Bracelets by Romwe that came in the mail yesterday. They are even more gorgeous in person than I imagined! Even my mother wants to steal them but, as she can only wear real gold, she can't wear them. I guess it's a win win for me then.

Also here's a bit of a sneak peak of some Fashion Week outfits I was sketching last night. My only concern though is that it's probably going to be freezing and I'll end up layering all week. I guess my outfit ideas will be left for another day :)

20 minutes until it's September. Oh Em Gee!

Have a good weekend everybody!

LOVE: Nebraska Heels by Novo

I've never had a problem matching red with pink. I might possibly be one of the few who actually likes it together. PS. I want these Nebraska Heels by Novo =D Non-leather too! Woohoo!

I think I actually dreamt about White Suede last night. What a weird coincidence!

SALE: Tribal Round Pendant Necklace and Matchstick Statement Necklace by eQUIP

I love buying a good statement necklace on sale - like the Tribal Round Pendant Necklace and Matchstick Statement Necklace by eQUIP - otherwise it just gets way too expensive! One of my favourite necklaces that I own I scored from $5 down from $30. It was one of the happiest days of my life =D

My kitty cat is sitting on me as I type this. I have the laptop on one half of my legs and she's sitting on the other half. My foot is asleep but I don't want to move her - she's too adorable!

NEW: by eQuip and Valleygirl

I did some light shopping this week and picked up four pieces of jewellery. The Long Feather Necklace and Greek Leaf Bracelet (I also bought it in gold) are both from eQUIP and the Aztec earrings and Sparkly necklace are both from Valleygirl. I had a voucher for eQUIP and the earrings were on sale (the necklace, well, was love at first glance) so I didn't feel guilty about spending money for once :)

I hope you like!

LOOKBOOK: Circus Collection by Peter Alexander

snippets via | Peter Alexander

I love this lookbook! I also love how PA re-do designs, such as the High Top Nightie. I bought it when it was part of the Ballerina collection (a few years ago, maybe?!) It's a bit like Supre. It's good if you miss out on buying something then you get a second chance, which is not always possible :)

LOVE: Woven Graphic Tee by Cotton On

I love the sheerness of these Woven Graphic Tee by Cotton On. I'm not a fan of Jimmy Hendrix, John and Yoko or know anything about Woodstock (don't judge) but I love them all the same! I can understand why they are selling so well :)

LOVE: Cleopatre Print by Pleasure State

This is the first time I'm featuring lingerie on my blog. Lingerie is one of those items that isn't really necessary because it's a luxury item for yourself. Let's face it, if you're buying it to impress your man, he'd probably prefer to just tear it off and leave it crumpled up on the floor. Crude, but, in most cases, true.

I love lingerie though - especially Couture Cleopatre Midi Brief  and  Couture Cleopatre Contour Bra by Pleasure State (which if wasn't so expensive I would buy it now). Sexy lingerie can sometimes be that pick me up that you sometimes need to feel just that little bit extra sexy. It's hard to explain if you've never had the pleasure of owning and wearing lingerie, but if you ever do, I recommend it, if only just once to see if you feel more confident when wearing it.

Rocketman Dress Pink Pantha by Friend of Mine

Each day leading up to Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, I'm going to choose one designer appearing at random and feature my favourite piece from their ready to wear collection from their website.

I'm looking forward to going to see a show. I can't believe it's come so soon. I bought my tickets a while ago but I am looking forward to a night out in the city.

OUTFIT: I Just Want To Live

This is another outfit from The Forgotten Collection - you can tell it was from a while ago because my hair is much shorter and the sun is out - although I do remember it was windy that day too. I also recall getting weird looks from people driving by as we were shooting these - I prefer to shoot in more private locations. I love this outfit though mainly because I love all the elements. The dress, belt, shoes and blazer are all popular items in my wardrobe ... and, of course, the bag ... may it rest in peace. I so loved/miss that bag!

LOVE: Elizabeth Top by Kate Sylvester

Since watching The Almighty Johnsons, I'm beginning to learn and love more New Zealand brands and designers. One designer in particular, who is featured heavily on the show (mostly thanks to Dawn's wardrobe) is Kate Sylvester.

My favourite piece has to be this Elizabeth Top - I especially like the high neckline and buttons running down the back of the top. Gorgeous, I want! I've always liked the look of black and gold (hey, isn't that a song?! =P) together. There's something really expensive looking about it.

BLOG: Instagram - Part I

Ever since Instagram was released for Android, I have been obsessed with taking photos and putting them online. My Instagram is private due to some personal photos on there that I don't want to share :\ But I've seen other people share their Instagram photos on their blog and I always enjoy it, so I thought I would do the same :)

I have six parts planned so far but will post more once I have a bit of a collection growing again :)

4-6 / Manicure table. Boots I liked from Harris Scarfe. Walnut, Spinach, Pear and Blue Cheese salad*.

LOVE: Amelia Wrap Coat by SABA

It's hard to think about anything other than jackets and coats today considering how unbelievably freezing cold and windy it is in Melbourne today. I want nothing more than to rug up under a blanket with my cats in front of the heater with the remote in my hand and not move for hours.

Sadly though, life kicks in, and that's not possible so I seek out a new coat like this Amelia Wrap Coat by SABA. The black and envy (as above) is only available in size 6 but the camel colour is still available and cheaper =D The collar makes is so versatile too - which you know I love!

I'm a bit of a coat fan ... if you can't tell. I own so many! I adore winter and everything about it!

I have a party tonight and then am heading to the airport. Have a good weekend everybody!

OUTFIT: Nothing But A Good Time

So these are possibly the worst outfit photos. Not that the photos are bad, per say, but they were just really really difficult to shoot when the wind is blowing you over between each click - or worse, your skirt right up flashing your neighbours and your photographer!

Melbournians, how bad was the weather today?! I hope you didn't get caught in the rain, hail, thunder, lightning or all four today. I was lucky that I managed to avoid most of the storm and only get caught in a little down pour of rain.

By the way, I'm very much in love with Richard Speight Jr at the moment! He's coming to Melbourne next year for All Hell Breaks Loose IV. But as much as I'm crushing on Richard, I think that $170 is just a bit too much to pay for a convention on a show that I'm not a huge fan of just to see one actor. I'd much rather wait, pray and hope that he'll do a cheaper con where there are other actors I'd like to meet too *coughDavidHewlettcough*

I mentioned on twitter that I'm on the lookout for the perfect peplum top and I think I might have found it in this Lace Peplum Top by Max. I love the sheer frill at the waistline, the square neckline, the price tag (I love a sale item!) and the Flamenco colour is oh so sexy!

NEW: Engineered Lace Shift Dress by Portmans

The weekend before last I finally bought the Engineered Lace Shift Dress by Portmans after wanting it since February! The sherbet and ivory (as above) are on sale now so get in quick if you've been wanting this dress as much as I have! (My instincts told me that it would go on sale. I would have been pissed if I had bought it for full price and it had gone on sale before I even had a chance to wear it - so I waited)

I would have shown it sooner but I ended up switching for a size up before switching it again to my original size. In hindsight, I really should have just kept my original - it would have saved me a lot of time and docket paper.

I'm having dinner with my sister tonight so I plan to layer (it's freezing outside!) and wear it tonight. Fingers crossed I don't spill anything on it :\ It's happened to me before - I'll wear a napkin tucked into the collar and on my lap if I have to lol.

Have a good night everybody! I have to start getting ready!

OUTFIT: Movie Night

Last Saturday night I held a party at my house just because I could. We have a bit of a theatre room at a house so it's the perfect place for movie nights.

I wore this outfit to pick up a friend of mine from the bus stop before the festivities began. There was plenty of junk food, drinks and an overall vampire theme to the night. The movies included Dracula (scared the bejesus out of me but Keanu made it worth it!), Interview with a Vampire and The Lost Boys - all great classic vampire movies.

Don't ask why I'm pulling faces ... o_O

(Simple black and white with tan accessories. I know a lot of people are against black paired with browns/tans but I quite like it).

EVENT: Going Ginger

I've never been one to keep the same hairstyle. I always like to play around with different cuts and colours. I've made many mistakes over the years so I'm not as adventurous as I used to be. I also know better now what will suit me and what I should stay away from.

I've been wanting to dye my hair bright red for a while but have been a little nervous about taking that next step. If you follow me on twitter, you would have read that earlier in the week I dyed my hair. The 'Red Embers' dye by Schwarkopf were 50 cents each (on sale) and, being a rinse, I figured if I hated it, it would always fadeout. Or if I extremely hated it, I could always dye over it and would have only wasted $2.

My hair doesn't look like the girl on the box but I can't say that I'm disappointed but I can't say that I'm pleased either. There's only a very light subtle change - which I sort of expected being a rinse - which you can only really see under the light.

You'll see the results on my blog tomorrow.  Let me know if you see a difference.

VIDEO: Episode 4 by Dave's Shed Show

Episode 4 of Dave's Shed Show. Dave Lawson, host and creator, was one of my favourite people when I was growing up. I've followed his career from SN:TV and 'Sarvo on Nickelodeon to The Dave and Kerly Show and The Guerilla Gardeners. I think I'll just always have a soft spot for him :) I've even had the pleasure of meeting him on my birthday - and I have photos to prove it.

Ah, memories! Dave now hosts his own talk show from the shed in his backyard. Watch it. Enjoy.

LOVE: Chevron Mesh Dress by Bardot

I'm adding this Chevron Mesh Dress by Bardot to my 'if I were tall and thin' wish list. Gosh, I love it! I could see my sister in it with black pumps. Perhaps I'll buy it for her for her birthday (it's one month from today - funnily enough!) :)

I've been looking forward to tonight for a little while. I'm having some friends over for a movie night/party. We have a large screen and surround sound system at my house so it's like a having your own private cinema at home. There will be drinks, food, movies and games - I'm thinking a vampire marathon perhaps. No Twilight. Think more of the classics like Dracula, Interview with a Vampire and The Lost Boys. But I'll wait and see what my guests think. I really can't wait!

Have a good weekend everybody!
