This year is flying by so fast - and it scares me so!

I guess at this point I really should call this a low buy and not a no buy year :/

I'm kind of torn between doing another low buy or no buy this year, so I've decided to call it a low/no buy just in case things go off the rails (hopefully not, as I'm trying to avoid that!) Obviously, I failed my 2024 No Buy and I could have done better during my 2025 Low Buy, so I want to do better in 2026.
I really want to focus on spending my money on events and activities rather than material possessions. I feel like I achieved that this month, and hopefully that momentum will continue... here's to 2026!

On the first of the month, I was hit with an unexpected driver's license renewel reminder. At first, I thought it was a scam, but I checked my license and it was due to expire in June, so that was a big chunk of change spent on the 1st, along with the final second artwork payment. So, I started (and ended) May money poor...
^ this old image amuses me as I only still own four of the pieces shown and three are in storage :/
April 2025. I'm doing okay ^_^

After truly failing last year's No Buy, it's time to attempt a Low Buy Year. As I felt really bad if I bought something last year, this year I know I can buy something if I want but not buying anything will feel even better.
So, here's what I bought in January and rules for 2025.
